Blast from the Past

Have you ever done something successfully that you just wish you could keep on the front burners of your memory bank?  As a photographer and occasional artist, its a great gift to have something tangible to show for a job well done.  This particular picture reminds me of one of the most successful shoots I've done.  I worked with a lively and wonderful model (who happens to be my sister-in-law).  The lighting and weather were great (although, as I recall, I used a strobe for part of the shoot since the forest was a little dark in spots).  I was testing a camera along with my usual one and Julie was kind enough to let me fire away.  And, unlike most the great moments I had playing sports or watching my kids grow up, I have these wonderful pictures to remind me of a job well done.  It was a good...no great...day.
